Change in the management of AP&S International GmbH: Sophie Hall, daughter of company founder Horst Hall, took over the position of Managing Director on April 1, 2025. The previous CEO and co-founder Alexandra Laufer is leaving the company as Managing Director after more than two decades, but will remain active in an advisory capacity.
Alongside Tobias Bausch (CMO & CTO) and Tobias Drixler (COO), three experienced managing directors will continue to steer AP&S.

The changeover was celebrated last Friday as part of a ceremonial entrance and exit. Colleagues, companions and partners of the company paid tribute to the outstanding achievements of Alexandra Laufer, who has played a key role in shaping the company together with Horst Hall since it was founded in 2003.
With Sophie Hall, a new generation is now taking the helm. She studied industrial engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe and has already held various key positions within the company in recent years, including Director Product Engineering and R&D. There she was involved in the development of the box cleaner "CleanSurF". Her deep roots in the company philosophy and her modern understanding of leadership make her the ideal successor.
Sophie Hall is also following in her family's footsteps: her father, Horst Hall, built up the company together with Alexandra Laufer and managed it for many years before gradually withdrawing from the operational side of the business.
"I would like to thank Alexandra Laufer for her tireless efforts and the many years of successful collaboration," said Sophie Hall in her speech. "I look forward to continuing our strong tradition with fresh impetus."
The entire team wishes both women every success in their future endeavors - with new responsibilities and on new paths.
