We´ve made it – TOP 100 Award 2019!

Maximum customer focus and distinctive innovation thinking lead AP&S to success in this year’s TOP 100 competition.

“To live innovation, is what drives us at AP&S“,  says Alexandra Laufer-Müller, CEO of the company, and ranks with this attitude among the best in this year’s TOP 100 competition. Thus, AP&S received its second TOP 100 award in the “Jahrhundert hall” in Frankfurt on June 28th, impressing the independent jury particularly in the category „Innovation-Promoting Top Management“.

AP&S is a wet process equipment provider from Donaueschingen, Germany and supplies the semiconductor industry worldwide. The product portfolio includes manual, semi-automated and fully automated wet process tools, AP&S employs 170 people around the world.

„To be successful in a dynamic, highly competitive market requires the following things: an intensive dialogue with the customers, close cooperation with the participating market players as well as a strong sense of innovation within the company. Our claim to contribute to the technologies and trends of tomorrow, is firmly embedded in the AP&S corporate mission statement”, explains Alexandra Laufer-Müller.

As a result, AP&S attaches great importance to regular employee trainings, open communication and transparent processes. Thanks to a flat hierarchical structure, ideas, impulses and suggestions for improvement quickly reach the management, are taken up and decisions are made quickly. This leads to fast reaction time and promptly visible results.

The field of open innovation is of high priority for AP&S too. The company is a member of several associations and hosted a number of association events in 2018. AP&S participates in the endowed professorship „Cobotics and socio-technological systems“ at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg and participates in the Important Project of Common European Interest on Microelectronics (IPCEI = a project promoted by the Federal Government, which aims to strengthen the microelectronic industry in Europe and Germany in the global competition).
