How is a microchip produced and how clean is a cleanroom? These and other exciting insights can be gained during a visit to AP&S International GmbH on July 3 at the Gewerbeschau in Donaueschingen-Aasen. There will be plenty on offer for both young and old visitors.
AP&S is a leading specialist in the development and construction of special machines used for the production of microchips worldwide. This is an exciting, innovative industry that you would not immediately expect to find on the Black Forest's doorstep in Aasen. During the trade show, visitors can take part in guided tours of the AP&S headquarters and learn more about these topics at various information stations: What does AP&S have to do with a smartphone or electric car? Why has AP&S already been awarded 5 innovation prizes? What characterizes AP&S an employer and what vacancies are currently available?
Training is a major topic at AP&S and will play a role on July 3. The company's training program will be presented in detail. AP&S trainees and training managers will answer questions and share their experiences. The personnel department will give tips on what really matters when applying for a job. Enthusiasts of handicrafts can lend a hand and make a cell phone display themselves: welding, bending and more are on the agenda here.
As an exception, visitors are also allowed to walk into the AP&S cleanroom production. Systems from small to large, from semi-automated to fully automated and special machine construction in a cleanroom environment with all the trimmings can be discovered and marveled at here.
Those who are into virtual worlds will also thoroughly enjoy their visit to AP&S. Because the sister company tepcon GmbHan expert in digitization, invites visitors to immerse themselves in virtual reality. They learn what training and education will look like in the future. After putting on the VR glasses in their VR adventure, all curious people will learn what a beach and a crocodile have to do with it. The company tepcon looks back on 20 years of history. "20 years ahead of the future" is the motto under which visitors can experience this digital journey.
A colorful children's program with a bouncy castle, a children's carousel, a cotton candy machine, balloon animals and a Bobby-Car fleet will make the trade show visit entertaining for the little guests as well. Food and drink will also be provided. By its music, the AP&S employees band "Cleanroom Music" will provide good mood on the day of the trade show.
