Last week, the BOGY day took place at AP&S. Under the motto "Children accompany a parent at work for one day", we had the pleasure of welcoming a total of 3 children of employees to our company.
The seventh-graders from Fürstenberg-Gymnasium in Donaueschingen had the opportunity to take a look at different areas of the company. Design, production, sales, materials management and other departments provided insights into their everyday work. Various job profiles were presented. The young visitors demonstrated their manual skills by building a smartphone holder. The project "Putting a sorting conveyor into operation" focused on the interrelationships between mechanics and electronics. Of course, the introduction to the semiconductor industry and a tour of the AP&S headquarters and our production plant II were also part of the career orientation day. Finally, our BOGY interns were able to immerse themselves in the virtual world at our sister company tepcon GmbH. It was an exciting day with a varied program and new experiences. We would be happy to offer it again at any time.
