Employee Qalification for Continuous Knowledge Transfer


At AP&S, we attach great importance to the structured and continuous qualification of our personnel. This prepares employees ideally for the requirements of the company and the target markets. To give an example, all new production employees are intensively looked after by our training supervisor Detlev G. over a period of three months and made fit for their work in semiconductor plant production.

Here, the colleagues are trained with regard to the various production processes and procedures in our company, with a special focus on the processing of plastics, as this is completely new territory for many lateral entrants. In this way, the newcomers quickly familiarize themselves with our production, gain a sound understanding of the requirements of the semiconductor industry and the cleanroom environment, and last but not least feel valued and well received in the new company.

The new AP&S Academy training center at the company headquarters in Donaueschingen is also used for training our employees. Wet chemical processes as well as the plant design including technical details are clearly explained here on installed wet process plants. This paves the way for career changers, which is particularly important in view of the current shortage of skilled workers. Employees learn from each other while ensuring the transfer of knowledge and experience.
